Expandable pannier liner and flight-ready travel bag with padded protection, tough materials and smart organisation. You carry more, travel easier.
The Kriega KS40 travel bag is a smart solution for riders who want organised luggage on the bike and practical carry luggage off it. Designed to fit inside most aluminium motorcycle panniers, this versatile bag expands in two stages from 30 to 40 litres, making it ideal for 31, 38 and 45-litre pannier systems.
Built from durable 420D polyester with Hypalon™ abrasion-resistant reinforcement, the KS40 protects your gear from daily wear while keeping its shape under load. Oversized YKK® zips provide reliable access, even with gloves on, while internal and external compression straps help stabilise contents during travel.
Off the bike, the rigid carry handle and padded shoulder strap make transport far more comfortable. Inside, a large zipped sleeve pocket stores a tablet, maps or documents, while two coated mesh zipped pockets keep chargers and smaller essentials neatly organised. Set at 30 litres, the KS40 also meets airline carry-on size regulations with many carriers, making it an excellent motorcycle touring and travel bag

Motorcycle gear comes in various levels of waterproofness, which is important for comfort and safety during wet rides. Most waterproof jackets, pants, gloves, and footwear have a membrane that prevents water from penetrating the outer layer. These products keep you dry, but there's a limit to how much they can penetrate. A waterproof membrane doesn't mean 100% waterproof. With prolonged exposure to rain or under high pressure, the outer layer can still let moisture through. This means you could get wet after longer rides in heavy rain, especially in areas where the fabric moves intensively or where seams are less well-protected.
Looking for 100% waterproof? Then choose a product with a Gore-Tex membrane. Gore-Tex is a specially designed membrane that is both waterproof and breathable. The membrane contains microscopic pores that are too small for water droplets to penetrate, but large enough to allow water vapor (sweat) to escape. This keeps rain and spray out, while your body heat and moisture are wicking away. You will ride dry and comfortable, even in prolonged or heavy rain.
In short: regular waterproof motorcycle clothing keeps out short(er) rainshowers, while Gore-Tex effectively protects against prolonged rain and at the same time provides breathable comfort.
