The first number, together with the letter 'W' (Winter), indicates the oil's viscosity at low temperatures, while the second number represents its viscosity at higher operating temperatures. For optimal engine performance and protection, always use the viscosity grade recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.
Regular engine oil changes, along with replacing the oil filter, are essential parts of vehicle maintenance. Fresh oil helps keep the engine running smoothly and protects it against wear, contamination, and sludge buildup. Always refer to your motorcycle or vehicle owner's manual for the manufacturer's recommended oil type and service intervals.
