Crafted with a waterproof* and breathable D-Dry® membrane, these gloves keep your hands dry without compromising ventilation or flexibility.
Built with a reinforced synthetic-suede palm and goatskin leather inserts, they resist abrasion in critical zones while maintaining supple movement. The ergonomically shaped fingers and adjustable wrist strap ensure a precise fit with excellent sensitivity on levers and controls. For protection, the gloves incorporate thermoformed Pro-Tek knuckle protectors, plus additional leather inserts along the side of the hand and little finger.
Comfort features include a light thermal lining for insulation, pre-curved finger design for natural grip, and reflective inserts for enhanced visibility in low light. Motorcycle gear comes in various levels of waterproofness, which is important for comfort and safety during wet rides. Most waterproof jackets, pants, gloves, and footwear have a membrane that prevents water from penetrating the outer layer. These products keep you dry, but there's a limit to how much they can penetrate. A waterproof membrane doesn't mean 100% waterproof. With prolonged exposure to rain or under high pressure, the outer layer can still let moisture through. This means you could get wet after longer rides in heavy rain, especially in areas where the fabric moves intensively or where seams are less well-protected.
Looking for 100% waterproof? Then choose a product with a Gore-Tex membrane. Gore-Tex is a specially designed membrane that is both waterproof and breathable. The membrane contains microscopic pores that are too small for water droplets to penetrate, but large enough to allow water vapor (sweat) to escape. This keeps rain and spray out, while your body heat and moisture are wicking away. You will ride dry and comfortable, even in prolonged or heavy rain.
In short: regular waterproof motorcycle clothing keeps out short(er) rainshowers, while Gore-Tex effectively protects against prolonged rain and at the same time provides breathable comfort.
