Dainese Gullfoss D-Dry trousers are men’s motorcycle pants designed for maximum versatility on adventure trips on roads and dirt roads. Their modular construction and ventilation make them suitable for all seasons, for maximum riding comfort combined with safety and functionality.
The removable waterproof D-Dry® membrane*, resistant up to 10,000 mm water column, can be worn over or under the pants and owing to the thermal interior, also removable, you can tackle even the coldest and rainiest days. Ventilation on the thighs, on the other hand, keeps the legs cool even in the hottest season. These features make the pants perfect for traveling without worrying about the atmospheric agents and temperature, focusing only on the road.
With class AA certification, according to the highest safety standards, these pants feature height-adjustable Pro-Armor Level 2 protectors on the knees and Pro-Shape 2.0 protectors on the hips.
Adjustment systems on the hips for a customized fit add comfort to your ride. Practicality and functionality are ensured by the zipper connection to the jacket as well as by two external pockets. The pants are also designed to be worn over road touring and adventure touring boots.

Motorcycle gear comes in various levels of waterproofness, which is important for comfort and safety during wet rides. Most waterproof jackets, pants, gloves, and footwear have a membrane that prevents water from penetrating the outer layer. These products keep you dry, but there's a limit to how much they can penetrate. A waterproof membrane doesn't mean 100% waterproof. With prolonged exposure to rain or under high pressure, the outer layer can still let moisture through. This means you could get wet after longer rides in heavy rain, especially in areas where the fabric moves intensively or where seams are less well-protected.
Looking for 100% waterproof? Then choose a product with a Gore-Tex membrane. Gore-Tex is a specially designed membrane that is both waterproof and breathable. The membrane contains microscopic pores that are too small for water droplets to penetrate, but large enough to allow water vapor (sweat) to escape. This keeps rain and spray out, while your body heat and moisture are wicking away. You will ride dry and comfortable, even in prolonged or heavy rain.
In short: regular waterproof motorcycle clothing keeps out short(er) rainshowers, while Gore-Tex effectively protects against prolonged rain and at the same time provides breathable comfort.
