The LS2 Travel motorcycle trousers are built for everyday rides and long tours. A fixed waterproof, breathable membrane keeps out rain and wind, while the removable thermal liner adds warmth on cold days and packs away when it’s warm. Stretch panels in key areas help you move easily on and off the bike.
For safety, the trousers are CE AA-certified (EN17092-3:2020) and include CE Level 1 armour at the knees and hips. The knee armour is height-adjustable for a better fit. Practical touches make life easier on the road: two large waterproof pockets for essentials, a thigh vent zip to cool down, an anti-slip seat for extra grip, reflective details for visibility, and a jacket connection zip to create a secure two-piece setup.

Motorcycle gear comes in various levels of waterproofness, which is important for comfort and safety during wet rides. Most waterproof jackets, pants, gloves, and footwear have a membrane that prevents water from penetrating the outer layer. These products keep you dry, but there's a limit to how much they can penetrate. A waterproof membrane doesn't mean 100% waterproof. With prolonged exposure to rain or under high pressure, the outer layer can still let moisture through. This means you could get wet after longer rides in heavy rain, especially in areas where the fabric moves intensively or where seams are less well-protected.
Looking for 100% waterproof? Then choose a product with a Gore-Tex membrane. Gore-Tex is a specially designed membrane that is both waterproof and breathable. The membrane contains microscopic pores that are too small for water droplets to penetrate, but large enough to allow water vapor (sweat) to escape. This keeps rain and spray out, while your body heat and moisture are wicking away. You will ride dry and comfortable, even in prolonged or heavy rain.
In short: regular waterproof motorcycle clothing keeps out short(er) rainshowers, while Gore-Tex effectively protects against prolonged rain and at the same time provides breathable comfort.
