    Level 1 protectors in motorcycle clothing are designed to provide a good balance between protection, comfort, and freedom of movement. They are commonly used in everyday motorcycle gear, sporty jackets, and lightweight touring clothing because they are thinner, lighter, and more flexible than Level 2 protectors. As a result, they feel more comfortable during longer rides and restrict movement less. In addition, the more compact materials often allow better ventilation, which is especially beneficial in warmer weather conditions.

    Compared to Level 2 protectors, Level 1 protectors provide a lower level of impact absorption, although they still meet European CE safety standards. This makes them especially suitable for riders who value comfort and flexibility during daily use or shorter rides. Level 2 protectors offer higher protection during heavy impacts, but they are usually thicker and heavier. For this reason, many riders choose Level 1 protectors when they want to combine a comfortable and lightweight riding experience with a basic level of safety.
