Returns, Exchange & Refunds

How do I return my order?

The easiest and fastest way to do so is by using our returns form. You will find the return form with your order (in the box or otherwise) and it contains all the information to return your order to us. If you no longer have this, you can download this return form and all information here.

Would you like to purchase a shipping label for a return?
In our return portal you can purchase a shipping label for your return for orders sent to the Netherlands or Belgium. Use of the return portal is not mandatory. We offer this service to easily and quickly purchase a shipping label for your return shipment.

We expect the returned product:
- to be in it's original (new) condition;
- to not have been worn or used (outdoors) in any other way;
- to be provided with all original labels and/or packaging.

So, not happy with your purchase? Then return your product and preferably in the packaging with which you received your order from us. If a product is not returned in its original condition or undamaged, it is unfortunately not eligible for exchange or return.

Returned items are your responsibility until they reach us, so make sure they are properly packed and cannot be damaged in transit. Also always ask for proof of your return, in case you need to contact us about this or in case something goes wrong en route.

Do you have freepost or are returns free?

No, unfortunately we do not have freepost to return your order to us. We also do not provide a (free) return shipping label. The costs for returning your order are for your own account.*

Can I exchange a webshop order online instead of receiving my money back?

Online exchange for another item is unfortunately not possible for webshop orders. All returned items will be processed for a refund once they have been received by our warehouse.

Would you like to receive another item?
- Then we advise you to order it in our webshop.
- As soon as we have received your original order back, we will make the refund.

If a price has increased in the meantime of your previous and new order, we request you to contact our customer service. They are able to correct the price difference with you.

Can I return a webshop order in the shop?

Items purchased in the webshop can also be returned in the shop in Amsterdam. The refund of the purchase amount will be made via the webshop, the same way in which the original transaction was made.

Can I exchange a webshop order in the shop?

Do you want to exchange your webshop order in the shop in Amsterdam? That is possible in many cases, not always.

The purchase amount is equal to or higher than the purchase amount of your webshop order
Then we will exchange the item or the purchase amount of your returned webshop order will be deducted from what you want to take from the shop. In the latter case, you pay the difference at the checkout in the store.

The purchase amount is lower than the purchase amount of your webshop order
We cannot return money for webshop orders instore, not even partially. Therefore, the complete purchase amount of your returned webshop order will be refunded via the webshop. The items you want to take from the shop will have to be paid in full at the checkout.

Online orders paid through Klarna
If you have placed an online order via Klarna (pay later), the purchase amount of your returned webshop order will be deducted from Klarna. The items you want to take from the shop will have to be paid in full at the checkout.

Can I also return a shop purchase by post?

Items purchased in the shop can also be returned to us by post. As soon as we have received your item(s) back, we will make a refund by bank transfer. We aim to do so within 3 to 5 working days after receipt of the return. For a smooth handling, we ask you to use the enclosed return form.

Do not forget to enclose (a copy of) the receipt.

Any costs associated with returns and refunds?

Return shipment
The shipment costs for returning your order are for your own account.* This means that the costs for returns are not free, we do not bear these shipping costs.

Refund money
After we have received your return, we will refund the amount as soon as possible in the same way the original transaction was made. There will be no additional costs for you to receive your original purchase amount back.

* Of course, in case of incorrect delivery by Biker Outfit, the costs for the return shipment will be reimbursed.

After how many days can I exchange or return an item?

You can exchange or return your order within 30 days of receipt. The 30-day reflection period starts after the item(s) have been purchased in the shop or have been physically handed over by the carrier to the person who placed the order or a third party who has signed for receipt.

I have lost my return form. Can I receive it again?

No problem! You can download the return form here.

Can I return multiple orders in the same package?

Yes, that's possible! Make sure that you put a separate return form in the package for each order. Fill in all the details, such as your order number and which items you are returning to us so that we can handle this for you as quickly as possible.

Can I also return orders paid with a Biker Outfit Gift card?

Of course you can return items you don't want to keep. If you have paid for your order in full with a gift card, the relevant amount will be credited back to the gift card once the return has been processed.

If the order amount is higher than the value of the gift card and you paid the rest with another payment method, the amount you paid with this other method will be refunded via this payment method. The remaining amount will be credited to your gift card.

How do I recieve my refund?

After we have received your return (in the shop in Amsterdam or by post), we will refund the amount as soon as possible in the same way that the original transaction was made.

Webshop orders
For webshop orders, the refund will be made with the same payment method with which your original purchase was made. If you have chosen Klarna - pay afterwards with your order, this will be deducted from your Klarna account.

Shop purchases
For shop purchases, this is by debit card or cash. Credit card payments in the shop can only be refunded in cash.

How long does it take for my money to be refunded?

Webshop orders
For webshop orders, processing takes place within 5 working days after we have received your return (in the shop in Amsterdam or by post).
- Klarna: immediately adjusted after processing.
- iDEAL or PayPal: in general, after processing, you will receive your purchase amount back the next working day.
- Credit card: it may take longer after processing before the money is back in your account. This depends on the credit card company and your bank. It can sometimes take 1 week or more for the refund to be processed. Unfortunately we have no influence on this.

Shop purchases
Returns of shop purchases will be processed immediately when you hand them over at the checkout.
- Cash: immediately.
- Pin refund: in general, you will have the purchase amount back in your bank account the next working day.

Can I exchange or return an item that has been worn or used?

You can only return an item that has been used and tried on if that use, fitting or wearing is the same as you would be allowed to do before the purchase in our shop in Amsterdam. This means that items to be returned may only be used, tried on or worn to examine whether you wish to keep the item. We expect the returned item:
- to be in it's original (new) condition;
- to not have been worn or used (outdoors) in any other way;
- to be provided with all original labels and/or packaging.

If a product is not returned in its original condition or undamaged, it is unfortunately not eligible for exchange or return.

Can I exchange or return any article?

A few products are excluded when it comes to returning or exchange.

Hearing protection can not be returned by reasons of hygiene. The same applies to pinlock lenses, communication systems and navigation systems. Unfortunately, we can not take them back when the seal is broken.
