From the PWR|Ripstop fabric on the shoulder, elbow, and forearm areas to an outer shell construction in 600-denier polyester – every feature is made to last the distance.
With the Voltiac 3 H2O Ladies, the weather won’t dictate when you ride – reasons not to get outside have dried up and melted away thanks to hydratex waterproof and cozy thermal liners. Whatever the season, two ventilation panels quickly unzip to optimize airflow. Plus, the ability to adjust the waist, cuffs, and upper arms ensure form-fitting performance that’s tailored to your body.

Motorcycle gear comes in various levels of waterproofness, which is important for comfort and safety during wet rides. Most waterproof jackets, pants, gloves, and footwear have a membrane that prevents water from penetrating the outer layer. These products keep you dry, but there's a limit to how much they can penetrate. A waterproof membrane doesn't mean 100% waterproof. With prolonged exposure to rain or under high pressure, the outer layer can still let moisture through. This means you could get wet after longer rides in heavy rain, especially in areas where the fabric moves intensively or where seams are less well-protected.
Looking for 100% waterproof? Then choose a product with a Gore-Tex membrane. Gore-Tex is a specially designed membrane that is both waterproof and breathable. The membrane contains microscopic pores that are too small for water droplets to penetrate, but large enough to allow water vapor (sweat) to escape. This keeps rain and spray out, while your body heat and moisture are wicking away. You will ride dry and comfortable, even in prolonged or heavy rain.
In short: regular waterproof motorcycle clothing keeps out short(er) rainshowers, while Gore-Tex effectively protects against prolonged rain and at the same time provides breathable comfort.
