Rugged, outdoor-influenced motorcycle boots for style driven riders.
Extremely functional, military boot-inspired riding shoes that combine a rugged appearance and the high-quality waterproofing of hydratex. So you can travel safely and stylishly in all weather conditions. With the Acre H2O shoes, Revit injected modern tech and elevate archetypal utilitarian style to a higher level. Rev'it! took the functional silhouette of military boots and reconstructed it to blend seamlessly your casual style on the city streets.
The blend of suede leather, strong polyester, and the tried and tested Vibram® Hype recycled rubber outsole makes for a comfortably casual pair of riding shoes that breath all the appeal of boots. Another strength of the Acre H2O shoes lies in its OrthoLite® insole, which is also comprised of recycled materials. Adding to its ‘get out there’ feel, is the hydratex|Z-liner construction that will assure function keeps up with style. Lace/zip up and ride Since conventional military boots don’t boast a zipper on the inner foot, though motorcycle boots usually do, Rev'it decided to give riders the best of both worlds.
They included a removable zipper panel along the front gusseted tongue for the convenience of not having to lace up each time you ride, but rather zip up. That said, if it’s not your style, then it’s business as usual, so just lace up. And just like military boots, long-day and long-distance comfort is paramount. That’s why we’ve included the SEESOFT ankle disc and rubber-EVA sole for extra freedom of movement.

*A waterproof membrane does not mean unlimited waterproof. The waterproofness depends on the quality of the membrane. Are you looking for 100% waterproof? Then select motorcycle boot with a GoreTex membrane.

Motorcycle gear comes in various levels of waterproofness, which is important for comfort and safety during wet rides. Most waterproof jackets, pants, gloves, and footwear have a membrane that prevents water from penetrating the outer layer. These products keep you dry, but there's a limit to how much they can penetrate. A waterproof membrane doesn't mean 100% waterproof. With prolonged exposure to rain or under high pressure, the outer layer can still let moisture through. This means you could get wet after longer rides in heavy rain, especially in areas where the fabric moves intensively or where seams are less well-protected.
Looking for 100% waterproof? Then choose a product with a Gore-Tex membrane. Gore-Tex is a specially designed membrane that is both waterproof and breathable. The membrane contains microscopic pores that are too small for water droplets to penetrate, but large enough to allow water vapor (sweat) to escape. This keeps rain and spray out, while your body heat and moisture are wicking away. You will ride dry and comfortable, even in prolonged or heavy rain.
In short: regular waterproof motorcycle clothing keeps out short(er) rainshowers, while Gore-Tex effectively protects against prolonged rain and at the same time provides breathable comfort.
