The Ixon MS Mig WP lady is a mid-season motorcycle glove. Featuring a waterproof membrane bonded to the palm for improved grip and feel at the handlebars. The upper hand of the MS Mig waterproof women gloves is made of softshell and spandex material with stretch zones on the inside of the wrist for improved comfort. The palm is made and reinforced with goatskin leather. On the inside of the glove you will find a micro-fleece lining and 50g quilted insulation that provides warmth, suitable for spring and fall. The MS Mig has a short cuff with Velcro closure for a proper fit around the wrists. The touch-tip material on the index finger makes it easy to use your touchscreen devices.

Motorcycle gear comes in various levels of waterproofness, which is important for comfort and safety during wet rides. Most waterproof jackets, pants, gloves, and footwear have a membrane that prevents water from penetrating the outer layer. These products keep you dry, but there's a limit to how much they can penetrate. A waterproof membrane doesn't mean 100% waterproof. With prolonged exposure to rain or under high pressure, the outer layer can still let moisture through. This means you could get wet after longer rides in heavy rain, especially in areas where the fabric moves intensively or where seams are less well-protected.
Looking for 100% waterproof? Then choose a product with a Gore-Tex membrane. Gore-Tex is a specially designed membrane that is both waterproof and breathable. The membrane contains microscopic pores that are too small for water droplets to penetrate, but large enough to allow water vapor (sweat) to escape. This keeps rain and spray out, while your body heat and moisture are wicking away. You will ride dry and comfortable, even in prolonged or heavy rain.
In short: regular waterproof motorcycle clothing keeps out short(er) rainshowers, while Gore-Tex effectively protects against prolonged rain and at the same time provides breathable comfort.
