The Macna Lazular RTX DL is a motorcycle glove designed for touring and light-adventure riding, combining impact protection and comfort. Its waterproof* construction uses Raintex on the back of the hand and Raintex Direct Laminate technology on the palm, helping keep rain out while reducing water absorption and drying time. The glove is prepared for heating and can be worn with a separate inner glove or upgraded with a heated alternative such as the Macna Helio, making it easy to add extra warmth when temperatures drop.
Impact protection comes from EXO RISC™ knuckle and finger protectors, while the RISC TPR palm protector adds impact protection to another key area of the hand. The double leather palm improves abrasion resistance and durability, while the reinforced little finger provides additional protection where it matters.
Comfort-focused details make a noticeable difference on longer journeys. The 30° Buckle™ 2.0 follows the natural angle of your wrist for a more comfortable closure, while Ergothumb™ supports natural thumb movement and reduces tension. The Double Cuff provides a secure connection with your motorcycle jacket.

Motorcycle gear comes in various levels of waterproofness, which is important for comfort and safety during wet rides. Most waterproof jackets, pants, gloves, and footwear have a membrane that prevents water from penetrating the outer layer. These products keep you dry, but there's a limit to how much they can penetrate. A waterproof membrane doesn't mean 100% waterproof. With prolonged exposure to rain or under high pressure, the outer layer can still let moisture through. This means you could get wet after longer rides in heavy rain, especially in areas where the fabric moves intensively or where seams are less well-protected.
Looking for 100% waterproof? Then choose a product with a Gore-Tex membrane. Gore-Tex is a specially designed membrane that is both waterproof and breathable. The membrane contains microscopic pores that are too small for water droplets to penetrate, but large enough to allow water vapor (sweat) to escape. This keeps rain and spray out, while your body heat and moisture are wicking away. You will ride dry and comfortable, even in prolonged or heavy rain.
In short: regular waterproof motorcycle clothing keeps out short(er) rainshowers, while Gore-Tex effectively protects against prolonged rain and at the same time provides breathable comfort.
