The LS2 Nordic motorcycle gloves are made for autumn and winter riding, combining waterproofing*, thermal insulation and impact protection in a flexible, comfortable design. The three-layer Softshell construction combines elastic ripstop, 600D ripstop and soft goat leather, giving you a balance of durability, flexibility and tactile feel at the controls.
The fixed Sheltex® Plus and thermal lining help keep your hands warm, while the waterproof membrane* keeps rain out and lets moisture escape from inside the glove. With a 15,000 mm water column and 12,000 g/m²/24h breathability, the Nordic keeps your hands more comfortable when the weather turns cold and wet.
Protection comes from a TPR hard knuckle protector with memory foam, an impact-resistant TPR palm shield and EVA protection around the forearm. The palm and sides are reinforced with Oxford fabric, while the palm combines foam padding, goatskin leather and an anti-slip silicone grip for added comfort and control.
The fit can be adjusted with the elastic hook-and-loop closure and secondary wrist closure. Stretch fabric across the fingers keeps the glove flexible, while reinforced index and middle fingers add durability and reflective material improves visibility. An integrated visor wiper and touchscreen-compatible fingertips round out this winter motorcycle glove’s practical features.

Motorcycle gear comes in various levels of waterproofness, which is important for comfort and safety during wet rides. Most waterproof jackets, pants, gloves, and footwear have a membrane that prevents water from penetrating the outer layer. These products keep you dry, but there's a limit to how much they can penetrate. A waterproof membrane doesn't mean 100% waterproof. With prolonged exposure to rain or under high pressure, the outer layer can still let moisture through. This means you could get wet after longer rides in heavy rain, especially in areas where the fabric moves intensively or where seams are less well-protected.
Looking for 100% waterproof? Then choose a product with a Gore-Tex membrane. Gore-Tex is a specially designed membrane that is both waterproof and breathable. The membrane contains microscopic pores that are too small for water droplets to penetrate, but large enough to allow water vapor (sweat) to escape. This keeps rain and spray out, while your body heat and moisture are wicking away. You will ride dry and comfortable, even in prolonged or heavy rain.
In short: regular waterproof motorcycle clothing keeps out short(er) rainshowers, while Gore-Tex effectively protects against prolonged rain and at the same time provides breathable comfort.
