The Ixon Pro Midgard ladies motorcycle gloves are designed for riders who want dependable winter protection without stretching their budget. Built for touring and everyday riding in cold and wet conditions, these gloves combine practical construction with rider-focused comfort.
The back of the hand is made from flexible softshell to block wind and rain, while the palm features durable goat leather for excellent grip and abrasion resistance. A waterproof insert keeps your hands dry during winter rides, and 133 g/m² wadding insulation, combined with fleece and microfleece lining, ensures lasting warmth even on longer journeys.
Protection is well covered thanks to a hard knuckle shell, reinforced palm with leather and an integrated slider. The long cuff design improves coverage and weather protection, while the double wrist and cuff tightening system with toggle allows a secure, customised fit. An easy-grip adjustment tab makes tightening simple, even while wearing the gloves.

Motorcycle gear comes in various levels of waterproofness, which is important for comfort and safety during wet rides. Most waterproof jackets, pants, gloves, and footwear have a membrane that prevents water from penetrating the outer layer. These products keep you dry, but there's a limit to how much they can penetrate. A waterproof membrane doesn't mean 100% waterproof. With prolonged exposure to rain or under high pressure, the outer layer can still let moisture through. This means you could get wet after longer rides in heavy rain, especially in areas where the fabric moves intensively or where seams are less well-protected.
Looking for 100% waterproof? Then choose a product with a Gore-Tex membrane. Gore-Tex is a specially designed membrane that is both waterproof and breathable. The membrane contains microscopic pores that are too small for water droplets to penetrate, but large enough to allow water vapor (sweat) to escape. This keeps rain and spray out, while your body heat and moisture are wicking away. You will ride dry and comfortable, even in prolonged or heavy rain.
In short: regular waterproof motorcycle clothing keeps out short(er) rainshowers, while Gore-Tex effectively protects against prolonged rain and at the same time provides breathable comfort.
