The volume of the ION S tail bag can be expanded with a zipper from 7 to 15L and therefore offers enough storage for drinks, a change of clothes, safety vest and other little things that you need on a daytrip or short trip. The compact bag can be lashed onto riveted D-rings with the included loop straps. Two flaps with hook-and-loop closure and a slot on the underside also enable quick and secure attachment to the seat or rack. The reinforced sides, the padded lid and straps for tightening the volume expansion guarantee a solid shape. Things stowed in the outer pocket or mesh compartment in the inside of the lid are particularly close at hand. A carrying handle makes the ION tail bag a practical travel companion.

Waterproof construction
Bags labeled as waterproof are generally made from materials that don't allow water to pass through, such as heavily coated textiles or tarpaulin-like fabrics. In addition, seams are often welded or sealed to minimize water penetration. This construction ensures that rain and splashing water stays out effectively, even during heavy downpours.
Waterproof inner compartment
For bags with a waterproof compartment, the exterior is usually made from water-repellent or partially water-resistant material. This outer layer may absorb water during prolonged or heavy rain. The main difference lies on the inside: the main compartment is often equipped with a waterproof liner or inner bag that protects your belongings against moisture.
Good to know: Although many types of motorcycle luggage provide excellent protection against rain, no product is completely and indefinitely waterproof.
