The backpack features a 4-litre waterproof roll-top main body and separate 5-litre zip-access hydration compartment, which can be fitted with a 3.75L Hydration Reservoir (sold separately).
The external Hypalon net with an elastic cord can either be used as extra storage or to allow wet layers to dry while riding. To provide all-day riding comfort, the Arid 9L H2O backpack features the innovative Kriega Quadlock-Lite harness that transfers weight from the shoulders to the chest and upper body when it is fully loaded. For even more stability when riding, the removable waist strap can offer extra support on the lower back. The backpack comes with an air-mesh back panel to prevent unwanted friction and heat generation on your back to keep you comfortable during riding in warm weather.

The Kriega Hydrabag is a heavy-duty, military grade 3,75L water reservoir with an insulated drink tube that is compatible with the backpack and is designed for all environments and temperatures. A Wide Slide-Seal™ top makes it easy to fill, and creates a leak-proof seal.

Waterproof construction
Bags labeled as waterproof are generally made from materials that don't allow water to pass through, such as heavily coated textiles or tarpaulin-like fabrics. In addition, seams are often welded or sealed to minimize water penetration. This construction ensures that rain and splashing water stays out effectively, even during heavy downpours.
Waterproof inner compartment
For bags with a waterproof compartment, the exterior is usually made from water-repellent or partially water-resistant material. This outer layer may absorb water during prolonged or heavy rain. The main difference lies on the inside: the main compartment is often equipped with a waterproof liner or inner bag that protects your belongings against moisture.
Good to know: Although many types of motorcycle luggage provide excellent protection against rain, no product is completely and indefinitely waterproof.
