Kriega Sling messenger bag distinguishes itself from standard shoulder bags with a rider-focused design, stable fit and waterproof liner protection. Ideal for commuting, city riding and short trips, it gives you fast access to essentials without the bulk of a backpack or panniers.
The 8-litre main compartment uses a roll-top closure together with a removable white taped-seam liner that forms the waterproof inner compartment. This keeps items such as a tablet, camera, phone or documents protected in wet weather, while the light-coloured interior also makes smaller gear easier to find. The liner can be removed for cleaning.
The padded shoulder strap is reversible for left or right shoulder use and offers a personalised fit. Thanks to Kriega’s alloy adjuster, you tighten the strap quickly and swing the bag forward for easy access. It also slips on and off smoothly while wearing a helmet.
Built from 1000D Cordura®, Hypalon reinforcement and rip-stop nylon, this bag is made for long-term motorcycle use. The grip-panel back reduces movement while riding, while the removable waist strap adds extra stability at higher speeds.

Waterproof construction
Bags labeled as waterproof are generally made from materials that don't allow water to pass through, such as heavily coated textiles or tarpaulin-like fabrics. In addition, seams are often welded or sealed to minimize water penetration. This construction ensures that rain and splashing water stays out effectively, even during heavy downpours.
Waterproof inner compartment
For bags with a waterproof compartment, the exterior is usually made from water-repellent or partially water-resistant material. This outer layer may absorb water during prolonged or heavy rain. The main difference lies on the inside: the main compartment is often equipped with a waterproof liner or inner bag that protects your belongings against moisture.
Good to know: Although many types of motorcycle luggage provide excellent protection against rain, no product is completely and indefinitely waterproof.
