The Alpinestars Haro kV2 Drystar® jacket is a highly versatile adventure motorcycle jacket designed to perform in every season and across every type of terrain. Thanks to its innovative modular construction, it easily adapts from a fully protective touring jacket to a highly ventilated off-road jacket, making it ideal for adventure and dual-sport riding.
Its durable ripstop outer shell combines low weight with excellent abrasion resistance, while strategically placed stretch panels enhance comfort and freedom of movement. The removable Drystar® waterproof liner* provides reliable protection against rain while remaining breathable. Wear it inside the jacket as a windproof layer or over the jacket when the weather takes a turn for the worse.
Warm-weather performance is where the Harok V2 truly stands out. Zip-off sleeves and fold-away chest and back panels expose large mesh ventilation zones, creating exceptional airflow without sacrificing rider protection. When removed, the sleeves can be stored neatly in the dedicated rear storage compartment.
For impact protection, the jacket is equipped with removable CE Level 2 Nucleon Flex Pro shoulder and elbow protectors and is Tech-Air® Ready for compatibility with an Alpinestars airbag system. Multiple waterproof storage pockets, a comfortable Soft-Seal® collar, ergonomic adjustment points and a waist connection zip complete this premium all-season adventure motorcycle jacket.

Motorcycle gear comes in various levels of waterproofness, which is important for comfort and safety during wet rides. Most waterproof jackets, pants, gloves, and footwear have a membrane that prevents water from penetrating the outer layer. These products keep you dry, but there's a limit to how much they can penetrate. A waterproof membrane doesn't mean 100% waterproof. With prolonged exposure to rain or under high pressure, the outer layer can still let moisture through. This means you could get wet after longer rides in heavy rain, especially in areas where the fabric moves intensively or where seams are less well-protected.
Looking for 100% waterproof? Then choose a product with a Gore-Tex membrane. Gore-Tex is a specially designed membrane that is both waterproof and breathable. The membrane contains microscopic pores that are too small for water droplets to penetrate, but large enough to allow water vapor (sweat) to escape. This keeps rain and spray out, while your body heat and moisture are wicking away. You will ride dry and comfortable, even in prolonged or heavy rain.
In short: regular waterproof motorcycle clothing keeps out short(er) rainshowers, while Gore-Tex effectively protects against prolonged rain and at the same time provides breathable comfort.
