Schuberth C5 ANC

The Schuberth C5 ANC motorcycle helmet takes the benchmark set by the C5 and elevates it with next-level aeroacoustic engineering and Active Noise Cancellation integration. Developed and refined in the Schuberth wind tunnel in collaboration with Cardo Sound Labs, this flip-up helmet delivers exceptional noise reduction and long-distance comfort, even at sustained motorway speeds.

The C5 ANC is not simply a standard C5 with electronics added later, it was engineered specifically around the Schuberth SC Edge ANC unit. The shell acoustics, speaker recess dimensions and internal routing were developed to support the larger 53mm speaker architecture and advanced Active Noise Cancellation setup, creating a more controlled and refined sound environment for long-distance riding.  For touring riders, this means reduced wind fatigue, clearer communication at motorway speeds and a noticeably quieter experience over extended journeys. The system integrates seamlessly thanks to pre-installed wiring and dedicated mounting points within the helmet shell, maintaining clean aerodynamics without external units disrupting airflow. The SC Edge ANC unit itself is not included and is sold separately.

Its hand-laid fibreglass shell, reinforced with carbon fibre for structural rigidity, combines low weight with high impact resistance. Certified to ECE 22.06 and P/J homologated, you benefit from full-face and open-face approval in one helmet. The optimised aerodynamic profile reduces lift and buffeting, while balanced weight distribution minimises strain on your neck during extended rides.

Ventilation is where the C5 ANC truly separates itself. The dual chin air intake system with replaceable filter feeds fresh air directly through exposed EPS channels. Combined with the enlarged rear spoiler exhaust system, it creates a powerful airflow circuit for precise head thermoregulation, essential for touring performance and urban riding alike.

The visor system features optical class 1 clarity with Pinlock® 70 anti-fog lens included. Thanks to the integrated visor memory function, your chosen visor position remains exactly where you set it, even after opening and closing the chin bar. It’s a small detail that makes daily use noticeably more refined.

Comfort is further enhanced through the Schuberth Individual Programme, allowing you to fine-tune head pad thickness at the sides, rear and cheeks. This ensures a precise fit, even for more demanding head shapes.
