The Richa Infinity 3 Adventure motorcycle jacket is built for long distance exploration across mixed terrain. A high abrasion resistant Cordura outer shell and stretch inserts give durability and mobility. Large front and rear zippered panels from the Richa ACS system and a full dual way arm zipper deliver targeted airflow when you need it. The jacket includes a removable Aquashell pro LTD 10.000 mm waterproof* jacket that can be worn in or over the main shell, plus a removable thermal liner and comfort mesh inner lining for year round comfort.
Protection is class-leading with fitted Level 2 D3O shoulder- and elbowprotectors included and prepared pockets for D3O back and chest upgrades. Practical details include five large outer pockets, a hidden card pocket on the arm, multiple adjustment straps for a precise fit, reflective detailing and a 360° connection zipper for secure jacket to trouser connection.

Motorcycle gear comes in various levels of waterproofness, which is important for comfort and safety during wet rides. Most waterproof jackets, pants, gloves, and footwear have a membrane that prevents water from penetrating the outer layer. These products keep you dry, but there's a limit to how much they can penetrate. A waterproof membrane doesn't mean 100% waterproof. With prolonged exposure to rain or under high pressure, the outer layer can still let moisture through. This means you could get wet after longer rides in heavy rain, especially in areas where the fabric moves intensively or where seams are less well-protected.
Looking for 100% waterproof? Then choose a product with a Gore-Tex membrane. Gore-Tex is a specially designed membrane that is both waterproof and breathable. The membrane contains microscopic pores that are too small for water droplets to penetrate, but large enough to allow water vapor (sweat) to escape. This keeps rain and spray out, while your body heat and moisture are wicking away. You will ride dry and comfortable, even in prolonged or heavy rain.
In short: regular waterproof motorcycle clothing keeps out short(er) rainshowers, while Gore-Tex effectively protects against prolonged rain and at the same time provides breathable comfort.
