A high abrasion resistant Cordura outer shell combines with stretch panels in key areas for durability and freedom of movement. Large zippered Richa ACS vents give you adjustable airflow when it heats up. Add the removable thermal liner or zip in the Aquashell pro LTD 10.000 mm waterproof* membrane to stay warm and dry.
Impact protection comes from fitted D3O Level 1 knee- and hip protectors with upgrade options to Level 2 for extra security if desired. Practical details include elasticated calves for a neat fit over boots or sneakers, an easy instep zipper, two roomy outer pockets, an adjustable waist strap, reflective panels and a 360° connection zipper so you can attach the trousers to a jacket.

Motorcycle gear comes in various levels of waterproofness, which is important for comfort and safety during wet rides. Most waterproof jackets, pants, gloves, and footwear have a membrane that prevents water from penetrating the outer layer. These products keep you dry, but there's a limit to how much they can penetrate. A waterproof membrane doesn't mean 100% waterproof. With prolonged exposure to rain or under high pressure, the outer layer can still let moisture through. This means you could get wet after longer rides in heavy rain, especially in areas where the fabric moves intensively or where seams are less well-protected.
Looking for 100% waterproof? Then choose a product with a Gore-Tex membrane. Gore-Tex is a specially designed membrane that is both waterproof and breathable. The membrane contains microscopic pores that are too small for water droplets to penetrate, but large enough to allow water vapor (sweat) to escape. This keeps rain and spray out, while your body heat and moisture are wicking away. You will ride dry and comfortable, even in prolonged or heavy rain.
In short: regular waterproof motorcycle clothing keeps out short(er) rainshowers, while Gore-Tex effectively protects against prolonged rain and at the same time provides breathable comfort.
