Dynamic, waterproof, hooded softshell jacket.
The freedom of two wheels seldom feels better than on nimble, everyday urban rides. Rides like that turn A-to-B rides into everyday miniature adventures as you keep moving while the city is in gridlock. Let the built-in comfort and confidence – and the purposely relaxed fit – of Revit Traffic 2 H2O softshell motorcycle jacket take that sensation up to the next level.
With its inherently dynamic character and the waterproof*, softshell jacket design, the Traffic 2 H2O is more than just a motorcycle jacket. It’s designed to blend in perfectly in the chaotic fluidity of urban life. Its toned-down style masks its ride-ready intent with a sense of effortlessness: It’s hard to tell it’s even a motorcycle jacket at all. But you can bet it is.
The built-in Seesmart impact protection is so thin and malleable, you barely notice it’s there and the outer fabric of the Traffic 2 H2O is crafted with a mesh G-liner that adds durable waterproofing* without weighing an otherwise incredibly comfortable and lightweight jacket down. Adding more casual appeal to an already outspokenly understated style, there’s a fixed waterproof hood and a raised comfort collar. The Rev'it! Traffic 2 H2O will keep you looking stylish in the streets.

Underneath this garment you can wear the REV'IT! Avertum Tech-Air Airbag, provided you choose this garment one size larger than your regular clothing size. If you want to wear a garment marked ‘Suitable for Avertum Tech-Air Airbag System - one size up’, you need to make sure that the garment has enough room for an inflated airbag. Hence, the recommendations below for optimum fit:
Note: Keep in mind that the garment is bought in the right size so that the shoulder and elbow protectors fit properly and provide maximum protection in an accident. To give room for an inflated airbag, remove any loose layers (thermal lining, waterproof lining) that might impede airbag inflation in an accident. Remove (if present) the loose back protector in your clothing; the airbag comes standard with a back protector. Set all adjustment options at the torso (adjustment straps, adjustment straps) to the widest position.
Motorcycle gear comes in various levels of waterproofness, which is important for comfort and safety during wet rides. Most waterproof jackets, pants, gloves, and footwear have a membrane that prevents water from penetrating the outer layer. These products keep you dry, but there's a limit to how much they can penetrate. A waterproof membrane doesn't mean 100% waterproof. With prolonged exposure to rain or under high pressure, the outer layer can still let moisture through. This means you could get wet after longer rides in heavy rain, especially in areas where the fabric moves intensively or where seams are less well-protected.
Looking for 100% waterproof? Then choose a product with a Gore-Tex membrane. Gore-Tex is a specially designed membrane that is both waterproof and breathable. The membrane contains microscopic pores that are too small for water droplets to penetrate, but large enough to allow water vapor (sweat) to escape. This keeps rain and spray out, while your body heat and moisture are wicking away. You will ride dry and comfortable, even in prolonged or heavy rain.
In short: regular waterproof motorcycle clothing keeps out short(er) rainshowers, while Gore-Tex effectively protects against prolonged rain and at the same time provides breathable comfort.
