This jacket’s previous generations are the epitome of affordable, capable, all-weather touring gear. And when the going gets tough, the Revit Voltiac 3 H2O stays true to its roots. Only now it’s upgraded with PWR|Ripstop fabric on the shoulder, elbow, and forearm areas, plus an outer shell construction in 600-denier polyester that’s form-fitting and more than tough enough to withstand the elements.
You’ll never be caught out by the weather in the Voltiac 3 H2O. The hydratex|Sphere mesh G-liner is waterproof yet breathable. The thermal liner will keep you cozy during most seasons, while two ventilation zippers are sealed to avoid water ingress and open the full length of your chest to optimize airflow when required. Warm, cold, wind, rain, or shine, in the Voltiac you’ll adjust just fine.

Motorcycle gear comes in various levels of waterproofness, which is important for comfort and safety during wet rides. Most waterproof jackets, pants, gloves, and footwear have a membrane that prevents water from penetrating the outer layer. These products keep you dry, but there's a limit to how much they can penetrate. A waterproof membrane doesn't mean 100% waterproof. With prolonged exposure to rain or under high pressure, the outer layer can still let moisture through. This means you could get wet after longer rides in heavy rain, especially in areas where the fabric moves intensively or where seams are less well-protected.
Looking for 100% waterproof? Then choose a product with a Gore-Tex membrane. Gore-Tex is a specially designed membrane that is both waterproof and breathable. The membrane contains microscopic pores that are too small for water droplets to penetrate, but large enough to allow water vapor (sweat) to escape. This keeps rain and spray out, while your body heat and moisture are wicking away. You will ride dry and comfortable, even in prolonged or heavy rain.
In short: regular waterproof motorcycle clothing keeps out short(er) rainshowers, while Gore-Tex effectively protects against prolonged rain and at the same time provides breathable comfort.
