With contemporary style and a design that breathes an air of the great outdoors, the Marauder H2O boots are a fresh, new take on what waterproof* motorcycle touring boots could be. Built around a double-lasted construction and our proprietary FLEXBLADE, visible through the outsole’s cutout, the Marauder

Complexity has no place where simplicity suffices. That’s exactly why Revit equipped the Marauder H2O boots with a quality waterproof YKK zipper closure and hook-and-loop flap to secure the boot up top. Combined with a fortified rubberized nose to prevent marring from the shifter, a pull loop at the heel to aid putting the boots on, and a nearly wholly flat nubuck leather on the medial side of the boots, made to durably grip one of your bike’s most profound contact patches, all to firmly underline that the Marauder H2O are made to ride. Motorcycle gear comes in various levels of waterproofness, which is important for comfort and safety during wet rides. Most waterproof jackets, pants, gloves, and footwear have a membrane that prevents water from penetrating the outer layer. These products keep you dry, but there's a limit to how much they can penetrate. A waterproof membrane doesn't mean 100% waterproof. With prolonged exposure to rain or under high pressure, the outer layer can still let moisture through. This means you could get wet after longer rides in heavy rain, especially in areas where the fabric moves intensively or where seams are less well-protected.
Looking for 100% waterproof? Then choose a product with a Gore-Tex membrane. Gore-Tex is a specially designed membrane that is both waterproof and breathable. The membrane contains microscopic pores that are too small for water droplets to penetrate, but large enough to allow water vapor (sweat) to escape. This keeps rain and spray out, while your body heat and moisture are wicking away. You will ride dry and comfortable, even in prolonged or heavy rain.
In short: regular waterproof motorcycle clothing keeps out short(er) rainshowers, while Gore-Tex effectively protects against prolonged rain and at the same time provides breathable comfort.
