The fixed Fiberfill® liner gives you the right amount of warmth but doesn’t hinder your operation of the handlebars. Wrapping your hands in comfort is done via the high loft fur lining while 100% waterproofing comes from hydratex membrane. These motorcycle gloves contain a visor wiper included to wipe away rain drops that limit your vision on those wet days. Your hands are well protected by a comfortable TPR soft knuckle protector combined with Temperfoam® thumb protection. The palm offers double-layer protection thanks to the inclusion of Temperfoam® and PWR|Shell.
There is reflection included in these motorcycle gloves at the fingers and reflective logos on top of the hand and cuff to help you stay more visible in low-light situations. Adjustments can be made at the wrist, and the stretch material offers a comfortable city fit. Motorcycle gear comes in various levels of waterproofness, which is important for comfort and safety during wet rides. Most waterproof jackets, pants, gloves, and footwear have a membrane that prevents water from penetrating the outer layer. These products keep you dry, but there's a limit to how much they can penetrate. A waterproof membrane doesn't mean 100% waterproof. With prolonged exposure to rain or under high pressure, the outer layer can still let moisture through. This means you could get wet after longer rides in heavy rain, especially in areas where the fabric moves intensively or where seams are less well-protected.
Looking for 100% waterproof? Then choose a product with a Gore-Tex membrane. Gore-Tex is a specially designed membrane that is both waterproof and breathable. The membrane contains microscopic pores that are too small for water droplets to penetrate, but large enough to allow water vapor (sweat) to escape. This keeps rain and spray out, while your body heat and moisture are wicking away. You will ride dry and comfortable, even in prolonged or heavy rain.
In short: regular waterproof motorcycle clothing keeps out short(er) rainshowers, while Gore-Tex effectively protects against prolonged rain and at the same time provides breathable comfort.
