For sport street riders looking for a heavily ventilated jacket (with a waterproofing* component) that also want the aesthetic of speed wrapped into a CE-class AA jacket, Rev'it! brings you the Control Air H2O. Its own vibe when Revit created the Control Air H2O jacket, they had a very distinct vision. It was to be the seamless blending of both motorsport (think hard parts at the shoulders) and sportswear (think lamination around the zippers and tonal graphic prints). And unlike in the past - where any item in a “family” of jackets/pants/one-pieces - echoed almost identical aesthetics, Rev'it did something new.
The Revit Control Air H2O jacket is not a direct copy of leather series (jacket and one-piece suit); however, they took the graphics story of the ergonomic gradient shapes built out of diamonds and applied it in its own unique way at the back of the arms. This way, it’s immediately recognizable as a member of the “Control” series, but with its own fashion-focused twist.
Stay cool. Stay dry. The Control Air H2O is heavily ventilated - think about 2/3 (or slightly more) of the front constructed with PWR|Shell mesh, and about the same ratio around back. That said, not every day will be as hot as another. For the days when you need some protection against the wind and rain, a separately wearable hydratex 2L waterproof* membrane is included.

Underneath this garment you can wear the REV'IT! Avertum Tech-Air Airbag, provided you choose this garment one size larger than your regular clothing size. If you want to wear a garment marked ‘Suitable for Avertum Tech-Air Airbag System - one size up’, you need to make sure that the garment has enough room for an inflated airbag. Hence, the recommendations below for optimum fit:
Note: Keep in mind that the garment is bought in the right size so that the shoulder and elbow protectors fit properly and provide maximum protection in an accident. To give room for an inflated airbag, remove any loose layers (thermal lining, waterproof lining) that might impede airbag inflation in an accident. Remove (if present) the loose back protector in your clothing; the airbag comes standard with a back protector. Set all adjustment options at the torso (adjustment straps, adjustment straps) to the widest position.
Motorcycle gear comes in various levels of waterproofness, which is important for comfort and safety during wet rides. Most waterproof jackets, pants, gloves, and footwear have a membrane that prevents water from penetrating the outer layer. These products keep you dry, but there's a limit to how much they can penetrate. A waterproof membrane doesn't mean 100% waterproof. With prolonged exposure to rain or under high pressure, the outer layer can still let moisture through. This means you could get wet after longer rides in heavy rain, especially in areas where the fabric moves intensively or where seams are less well-protected.
Looking for 100% waterproof? Then choose a product with a Gore-Tex membrane. Gore-Tex is a specially designed membrane that is both waterproof and breathable. The membrane contains microscopic pores that are too small for water droplets to penetrate, but large enough to allow water vapor (sweat) to escape. This keeps rain and spray out, while your body heat and moisture are wicking away. You will ride dry and comfortable, even in prolonged or heavy rain.
In short: regular waterproof motorcycle clothing keeps out short(er) rainshowers, while Gore-Tex effectively protects against prolonged rain and at the same time provides breathable comfort.
