Lightweight and waterproof, hooded, off-road adventure jacket.
The evolution of a Rev'it! DIRT Series modern classic, the Component 3 H2O builds upon this pinnacle adventure jacket’s well-received, feature-driven design approach by making the stand-out details even better and adding another few for good measure.
Inspired by designs used throughout the outdoor segment, it’s very much form and function in fashionable harmony. Not to say it’s a compromise – more the exact opposite. Its strategically matched, abrasion resistant Cordura® ripstop and PWR|Shell stretch ripstop materials give a hard-wearing, durable look to the Revit Component 3 H2O’s actual lightweight and unmistakenly made-for-purpose characteristics. With wind and waterproof*, 3L hydratex lamination, taped seams, CE-level 1 Seesmart impact protection, and an added dedicated pocket to upgrade things with a CE-level 2 Seesoft back protector (sold separately), the Component 3 H2O pulls out all the stops.
At Rev'it! they know that small changes can make a big difference. That’s why they tweaked the pocket configuration. With the pocket direction now facing away from the body, contents are easier to access with or without gloves on. Furthermore, they've added a CFZ VCS|Aquadefence ventilation zipper (CFZ meaning center front zipper) allowing more direct-to-body airflow when you need it the most. The detachable hood shape has also been reconfigured to be more fitted and to cinch around the head, as opposed to on the head.
Its active fit adds a casual, outdoor lifestyle feel, while the fitting has been primarily designed to slip over our Proteus protector jacket for when you’re really looking to get your adventure on. And with a unisex fit and updated grading, the Component 3 H2O now accommodates both men and women, facilitating a better fit across various sizes, especially for smaller frames.
Please note: At Revit they advise women to order a size smaller than they would regularly buy.

*A waterproof membrane does not mean unlimited waterproof. The waterproofness depends on the quality of the membrane. Are you looking for 100% waterproof? Then select a motorcycle jacket with GoreTex membrane.

Underneath this garment you can wear the REV'IT! Avertum Tech-Air Airbag, provided you choose this garment one size larger than your regular clothing size. If you want to wear a garment marked ‘Suitable for Avertum Tech-Air Airbag System - one size up’, you need to make sure that the garment has enough room for an inflated airbag. Hence, the recommendations below for optimum fit:
Note: Keep in mind that the garment is bought in the right size so that the shoulder and elbow protectors fit properly and provide maximum protection in an accident. To give room for an inflated airbag, remove any loose layers (thermal lining, waterproof lining) that might impede airbag inflation in an accident. Remove (if present) the loose back protector in your clothing; the airbag comes standard with a back protector. Set all adjustment options at the torso (adjustment straps, adjustment straps) to the widest position.
Motorcycle gear comes in various levels of waterproofness, which is important for comfort and safety during wet rides. Most waterproof jackets, pants, gloves, and footwear have a membrane that prevents water from penetrating the outer layer. These products keep you dry, but there's a limit to how much they can penetrate. A waterproof membrane doesn't mean 100% waterproof. With prolonged exposure to rain or under high pressure, the outer layer can still let moisture through. This means you could get wet after longer rides in heavy rain, especially in areas where the fabric moves intensively or where seams are less well-protected.
Looking for 100% waterproof? Then choose a product with a Gore-Tex membrane. Gore-Tex is a specially designed membrane that is both waterproof and breathable. The membrane contains microscopic pores that are too small for water droplets to penetrate, but large enough to allow water vapor (sweat) to escape. This keeps rain and spray out, while your body heat and moisture are wicking away. You will ride dry and comfortable, even in prolonged or heavy rain.
In short: regular waterproof motorcycle clothing keeps out short(er) rainshowers, while Gore-Tex effectively protects against prolonged rain and at the same time provides breathable comfort.
