The Revit Barren 18L H2O backpack is co-developed with luggage specialist Kriega. Easy-access waterproof roll-top main body offers 11 liters of space for essentials. The 7-liter zip-access rear compartment can be used to store a Tool-Roll, water bottle, or the optional 3.75L Hydration Reservoir (sold separately) to keep you hydrated on the bike. The rear area also has a small, internal 1-liter waterproof pocket for the most valuable items. The innovative Hypalon net with elastic cord provides even more external storage for personal items or to allow wet layers to dry while riding. . The Barren 18L H2O Backpack features the innovative Kriega Quadloc-Lite™ harness, which transfers weight from the shoulders to the chest and upper body, providing all-day riding comfort, even with the backpack fully loaded. To prevent unwanted friction and heat generation on your back the backpack comes with an Air-mesh back panel for additional rider comfort. Waterproof construction
Bags labeled as waterproof are generally made from materials that don't allow water to pass through, such as heavily coated textiles or tarpaulin-like fabrics. In addition, seams are often welded or sealed to minimize water penetration. This construction ensures that rain and splashing water stays out effectively, even during heavy downpours.
Waterproof inner compartment
For bags with a waterproof compartment, the exterior is usually made from water-repellent or partially water-resistant material. This outer layer may absorb water during prolonged or heavy rain. The main difference lies on the inside: the main compartment is often equipped with a waterproof liner or inner bag that protects your belongings against moisture.
Good to know: Although many types of motorcycle luggage provide excellent protection against rain, no product is completely and indefinitely waterproof.
