The REV'IT Axis 2 H2O motorcycle overpants were designed to meet the needs of the daily commuter. Revit's designers wanted to make sure that riders could get from home to work and back again dry and safe. The motorcycle overpants are designed to be put on quickly over jeans or chinos at moments’ notice when it suddenly starts to rain, without having to take your boots off. By adding a long two-way zipper on the outside, the motorcycle overpants can be fully opened for easy entry.
The outer shell is constructed of a strong polyester 600D fabric with SEESMART CE-level 1 protectors at the knees, which are height adjustable. The knee area also has incorporated darts sewn in to give it a pre-shaped silhouette, that in-turn, delivers extra comfort while riding. For added protection, you’ll find pockets on the hips which are prepared for additional SEESMART CE-level 1 hip protectors.
The Revit Axis 2 H2O motorcycle trousers have a regular fit yet can be adjusted at the waist and ankle for a more personal fit. Making sure the cold and wet stay out, there is a wind and water catcher behind the entrance zipper, and the motorcycle pants have belt loops which you can use to add the Revit Safeway belt to attach them to your motorcycle jacket. There is a laminated reflective rain wear print on the calves that will give you extra visibility.

Motorcycle gear comes in various levels of waterproofness, which is important for comfort and safety during wet rides. Most waterproof jackets, pants, gloves, and footwear have a membrane that prevents water from penetrating the outer layer. These products keep you dry, but there's a limit to how much they can penetrate. A waterproof membrane doesn't mean 100% waterproof. With prolonged exposure to rain or under high pressure, the outer layer can still let moisture through. This means you could get wet after longer rides in heavy rain, especially in areas where the fabric moves intensively or where seams are less well-protected.
Looking for 100% waterproof? Then choose a product with a Gore-Tex membrane. Gore-Tex is a specially designed membrane that is both waterproof and breathable. The membrane contains microscopic pores that are too small for water droplets to penetrate, but large enough to allow water vapor (sweat) to escape. This keeps rain and spray out, while your body heat and moisture are wicking away. You will ride dry and comfortable, even in prolonged or heavy rain.
In short: regular waterproof motorcycle clothing keeps out short(er) rainshowers, while Gore-Tex effectively protects against prolonged rain and at the same time provides breathable comfort.
