The Macna Bradical motorcycle jacket combines a distinctive anorak construction with practical features for mild to warm conditions. Its full length centred main zip makes the jacket easy to put on, while the large front and back pockets provide plenty of storage.
For changing weather, the Bradical comes with a removable Raintex ML waterproof membrane*. This membrane is laminated to mesh for a comfortable feel and increased flexibility. When temperatures rise, large 3D mesh panels on the chest, back and arms provide airflow through Macna's Air Burst™ construction.
RISC™ CE Level 1 protectors at the shoulders and elbows provide impact protection. The position of the elbow protectors can be adjusted. The jacket is also prepared for a back protector, which is not included. EVA shoulder cups add an extra technical detail to the outer construction.
Comfort and fit are further supported by adjustable upper arms, hips and cuffs. Easy Cuff™ connects the removable membrane to the outer shell at the cuff, while Dyna Cuff™ helps the sleeve adapt to your arm length. The removable hood can be secured with Hoodie Holder™, and Belt Loop™ allows the jacket to connect to your jeans belt.

Motorcycle gear comes in various levels of waterproofness, which is important for comfort and safety during wet rides. Most waterproof jackets, pants, gloves, and footwear have a membrane that prevents water from penetrating the outer layer. These products keep you dry, but there's a limit to how much they can penetrate. A waterproof membrane doesn't mean 100% waterproof. With prolonged exposure to rain or under high pressure, the outer layer can still let moisture through. This means you could get wet after longer rides in heavy rain, especially in areas where the fabric moves intensively or where seams are less well-protected.
Looking for 100% waterproof? Then choose a product with a Gore-Tex membrane. Gore-Tex is a specially designed membrane that is both waterproof and breathable. The membrane contains microscopic pores that are too small for water droplets to penetrate, but large enough to allow water vapor (sweat) to escape. This keeps rain and spray out, while your body heat and moisture are wicking away. You will ride dry and comfortable, even in prolonged or heavy rain.
In short: regular waterproof motorcycle clothing keeps out short(er) rainshowers, while Gore-Tex effectively protects against prolonged rain and at the same time provides breathable comfort.
Choose a Level 1 or Level 2 back protector. Level 2 offers a higher level of impact protection than Level 1.
