The Kriega Rollpack 20 saddlebags are constructed from a 500D Cordura® LITE outer shell with a taped seam inner liner. The Rollpack is designed to fit securely on a rear rack or pillion seat and can be rolled up and carried on the bike or in a backpack when you need extra storage. For quick and easy fitting the integrated cam-buckle straps loop around the bike frame and ‘hook-back’ to the pack. In addition, subframe-Loops are included for motorcycles with no visible frame or rack. Once fitted to the bike simply hook the integrated straps onto the Subframe-Loops and tighten down. Waterproof construction
Bags labeled as waterproof are generally made from materials that don't allow water to pass through, such as heavily coated textiles or tarpaulin-like fabrics. In addition, seams are often welded or sealed to minimize water penetration. This construction ensures that rain and splashing water stays out effectively, even during heavy downpours.
Waterproof inner compartment
For bags with a waterproof compartment, the exterior is usually made from water-repellent or partially water-resistant material. This outer layer may absorb water during prolonged or heavy rain. The main difference lies on the inside: the main compartment is often equipped with a waterproof liner or inner bag that protects your belongings against moisture.
Good to know: Although many types of motorcycle luggage provide excellent protection against rain, no product is completely and indefinitely waterproof.
