The fixed DryMesh membrane provides waterproof* and breathable performance, helping you stay dry during wet rides without trapping excess heat inside the jacket. On colder days, the removable thermal lining adds extra insulation, making the jacket suitable for commuting, touring and weekend rides throughout multiple seasons.
Comfort has also been carefully considered. The regular fit works naturally in the riding position, while the adjustable wrists and waist help fine-tune the fit around your body. The classic collar with soft polyester riser improves comfort around the neck, especially during longer rides. Mesh inserts beneath the arms of the thermal liner help maintain airflow and reduce overheating.
For warmer conditions, the zippered ventilation openings on the biceps and rear air outlet improve air circulation through the jacket. Reflective details on the triceps enhance visibility in low-light conditions, adding an extra layer of safety during early morning or evening rides.

Motorcycle gear comes in various levels of waterproofness, which is important for comfort and safety during wet rides. Most waterproof jackets, pants, gloves, and footwear have a membrane that prevents water from penetrating the outer layer. These products keep you dry, but there's a limit to how much they can penetrate. A waterproof membrane doesn't mean 100% waterproof. With prolonged exposure to rain or under high pressure, the outer layer can still let moisture through. This means you could get wet after longer rides in heavy rain, especially in areas where the fabric moves intensively or where seams are less well-protected.
Looking for 100% waterproof? Then choose a product with a Gore-Tex membrane. Gore-Tex is a specially designed membrane that is both waterproof and breathable. The membrane contains microscopic pores that are too small for water droplets to penetrate, but large enough to allow water vapor (sweat) to escape. This keeps rain and spray out, while your body heat and moisture are wicking away. You will ride dry and comfortable, even in prolonged or heavy rain.
In short: regular waterproof motorcycle clothing keeps out short(er) rainshowers, while Gore-Tex effectively protects against prolonged rain and at the same time provides breathable comfort.
