The LS2 Phoenix Air Lady Jacket combines high tenacity mesh with 6 mm dual ripstop fabric for a strong and highly ventilated construction. High performance mesh is used across the chest, inner arms and back, allowing plenty of airflow while riding.
For changing weather conditions, the jacket comes with a removable Sheltex waterproof* and breathable membrane. You can wear the membrane over or underneath the jacket. Two waterproof* hand pockets provide practical storage, while the removable waist bag adds another convenient option.
For protection, the Phoenix Air Lady Jacket comes with removable CE Level 2 shoulder and elbow protectors. The elbow protectors offer two adjustable positions. The jacket is also prepared for a chest protector and back protection.
The pre curved sleeves support a natural riding position. Adjustment at the waist, lower arms and upper arms helps you fine tune the fit. Neoprene around the collar adds comfort, while reflective details at the front and back improve visibility. A YKK connection zip allows the jacket to connect to compatible trousers and jeans.

Motorcycle gear comes in various levels of waterproofness, which is important for comfort and safety during wet rides. Most waterproof jackets, pants, gloves, and footwear have a membrane that prevents water from penetrating the outer layer. These products keep you dry, but there's a limit to how much they can penetrate. A waterproof membrane doesn't mean 100% waterproof. With prolonged exposure to rain or under high pressure, the outer layer can still let moisture through. This means you could get wet after longer rides in heavy rain, especially in areas where the fabric moves intensively or where seams are less well-protected.
Looking for 100% waterproof? Then choose a product with a Gore-Tex membrane. Gore-Tex is a specially designed membrane that is both waterproof and breathable. The membrane contains microscopic pores that are too small for water droplets to penetrate, but large enough to allow water vapor (sweat) to escape. This keeps rain and spray out, while your body heat and moisture are wicking away. You will ride dry and comfortable, even in prolonged or heavy rain.
In short: regular waterproof motorcycle clothing keeps out short(er) rainshowers, while Gore-Tex effectively protects against prolonged rain and at the same time provides breathable comfort.
