Based on the summer version these gloves offer the same great protection and features and stylish design but instead of airflow, these gloves offer wind and waterproofing properties provided by the Hydratex® liner.
The Mosco H2O gloves are perfectly suited for spring and fall riding conditions, and when riding in the city, they’re great for winter use as well. The outer shell is made of an abrasion-resistant 2-way stretch material combined with a lightweight and comfortable leather palm. Furthermore, hands are fully protected thanks to an EVA foam palm slider, plus thumb and knuckle protectors combined with a lightweight visco-elastic knuckle.

Motorcycle gear comes in various levels of waterproofness, which is important for comfort and safety during wet rides. Most waterproof jackets, pants, gloves, and footwear have a membrane that prevents water from penetrating the outer layer. These products keep you dry, but there's a limit to how much they can penetrate. A waterproof membrane doesn't mean 100% waterproof. With prolonged exposure to rain or under high pressure, the outer layer can still let moisture through. This means you could get wet after longer rides in heavy rain, especially in areas where the fabric moves intensively or where seams are less well-protected.
Looking for 100% waterproof? Then choose a product with a Gore-Tex membrane. Gore-Tex is a specially designed membrane that is both waterproof and breathable. The membrane contains microscopic pores that are too small for water droplets to penetrate, but large enough to allow water vapor (sweat) to escape. This keeps rain and spray out, while your body heat and moisture are wicking away. You will ride dry and comfortable, even in prolonged or heavy rain.
In short: regular waterproof motorcycle clothing keeps out short(er) rainshowers, while Gore-Tex effectively protects against prolonged rain and at the same time provides breathable comfort.
