The Dainese Vector D-Dry motorcycle jacket brings a sporty attitude to everyday riding without sacrificing the features that matter when conditions change. Its waterproof and breathable D-Dry® membrane* keeps rain out while allowing moisture vapour to escape, making it a practical choice for commuting, city riding and longer trips. When temperatures drop, the removable thermal layer adds warmth, while side air vents let you increase airflow when the ride gets warmer.
The Vector D-Dry also gives you plenty of control over the fit. Adjustable panels at the neck, waist and wrists let you fine-tune the jacket for a comfortable, dynamic fit, whether you are riding upright through town or leaning into a more active riding position. A jacket-to-trousers fastening system provides a secure connection to compatible Dainese trousers.
Safety is handled by Pro-Armor Level 1 protectors at the shoulders and elbows. The jacket is CE-certified as a Class A motorcycle garment. Dedicated pockets allow you to add compatible back protectors and Pro-Armor chest protectors for additional safety coverage (sold seperately).

Motorcycle gear comes in various levels of waterproofness, which is important for comfort and safety during wet rides. Most waterproof jackets, pants, gloves, and footwear have a membrane that prevents water from penetrating the outer layer. These products keep you dry, but there's a limit to how much they can penetrate. A waterproof membrane doesn't mean 100% waterproof. With prolonged exposure to rain or under high pressure, the outer layer can still let moisture through. This means you could get wet after longer rides in heavy rain, especially in areas where the fabric moves intensively or where seams are less well-protected.
Looking for 100% waterproof? Then choose a product with a Gore-Tex membrane. Gore-Tex is a specially designed membrane that is both waterproof and breathable. The membrane contains microscopic pores that are too small for water droplets to penetrate, but large enough to allow water vapor (sweat) to escape. This keeps rain and spray out, while your body heat and moisture are wicking away. You will ride dry and comfortable, even in prolonged or heavy rain.
In short: regular waterproof motorcycle clothing keeps out short(er) rainshowers, while Gore-Tex effectively protects against prolonged rain and at the same time provides breathable comfort.
Choose a Level 1 or Level 2 back protector. Level 2 offers a higher level of impact protection than Level 1.
