With their modular design, these motorcycle pants adapt to changing weather conditions. They feature a removable Absøluteshell™ membrane that can be worn in two ways: as a waterproof* outer layer or as an inner thermal barrier when temperatures drop. For hot weather, the breathable air mesh panels provide ventilation by simply opening the side zippers and folding back the pocket covers, keeping you cool and comfortable.
Engineered for active off-road riding, these Dainese trousers are ideal for both standing and seated positions. The washable leather inserts on the inner knees enhance durability, while adjustable bellows on the leg bottoms allow for easy use with adventure or off-road boots. Stretch fabric in key areas ensures a full range of motion, while Ripstop fabric at the knees and hips adds extra protection to the durable Duratex™ construction.
Certified to EN 17092 Class AA standards, the Super Adventure Absøluteshell motorcycle pants come equipped with height-adjustable, removable Level 2 composite protectors on the knees and Pro-Shape 2.0 Level 1 protectors on the hips, both certified to EN 1621.1. Reflective inserts enhance visibility in low-light conditions, adding an extra layer of safety on the road.

Motorcycle gear comes in various levels of waterproofness, which is important for comfort and safety during wet rides. Most waterproof jackets, pants, gloves, and footwear have a membrane that prevents water from penetrating the outer layer. These products keep you dry, but there's a limit to how much they can penetrate. A waterproof membrane doesn't mean 100% waterproof. With prolonged exposure to rain or under high pressure, the outer layer can still let moisture through. This means you could get wet after longer rides in heavy rain, especially in areas where the fabric moves intensively or where seams are less well-protected.
Looking for 100% waterproof? Then choose a product with a Gore-Tex membrane. Gore-Tex is a specially designed membrane that is both waterproof and breathable. The membrane contains microscopic pores that are too small for water droplets to penetrate, but large enough to allow water vapor (sweat) to escape. This keeps rain and spray out, while your body heat and moisture are wicking away. You will ride dry and comfortable, even in prolonged or heavy rain.
In short: regular waterproof motorcycle clothing keeps out short(er) rainshowers, while Gore-Tex effectively protects against prolonged rain and at the same time provides breathable comfort.
