The Alpinestars Stella C-1 WP women's motorcycle jacket combines reliable waterproof protection with everyday comfort and a refined, contemporary look. Its 450D polyfabric construction offers a practical balance of durability and comfort, while the fixed waterproof membrane* helps protect you from wet weather. The female-specific fit provides a comfortable, natural feel, while the detachable 80g thermal vest can be removed easily when temperatures rise, giving you greater flexibility across changing conditions.
Protection comes from Level 2 Nucleon Flex Pro shoulder and elbow protectors, providing effective impact protection without compromising the flexibility you need while riding. The jacket is also Tech-Air® Ready and prepared for an Alpinestars back protector insert and one-piece chest protector (sold separately).
The regular fit, ergonomic sleeves and 3D back pattern support a comfortable riding position, while the female-specific fit provides a more natural connection to the body. Adjustable wrist closures and a snap fastening allow you to fine-tune the fit, while welded padding adds comfort and the soft collar finish feels pleasant against the skin.

Motorcycle gear comes in various levels of waterproofness, which is important for comfort and safety during wet rides. Most waterproof jackets, pants, gloves, and footwear have a membrane that prevents water from penetrating the outer layer. These products keep you dry, but there's a limit to how much they can penetrate. A waterproof membrane doesn't mean 100% waterproof. With prolonged exposure to rain or under high pressure, the outer layer can still let moisture through. This means you could get wet after longer rides in heavy rain, especially in areas where the fabric moves intensively or where seams are less well-protected.
Looking for 100% waterproof? Then choose a product with a Gore-Tex membrane. Gore-Tex is a specially designed membrane that is both waterproof and breathable. The membrane contains microscopic pores that are too small for water droplets to penetrate, but large enough to allow water vapor (sweat) to escape. This keeps rain and spray out, while your body heat and moisture are wicking away. You will ride dry and comfortable, even in prolonged or heavy rain.
In short: regular waterproof motorcycle clothing keeps out short(er) rainshowers, while Gore-Tex effectively protects against prolonged rain and at the same time provides breathable comfort.
Choose a Level 1 or Level 2 back protector. Level 2 has a higher impact value than Level 1.
