The Alpinestars Morfex Parka WP combines the casual look of a modern parka with the protection and versatility of a high-quality motorcycle jacket. Thanks to its modular construction, it adapts easily to changing weather conditions, making it an excellent choice for year-round commuting and everyday riding.
The durable matte polyfabric outer shell is combined with technical 2D mesh panels to deliver excellent airflow when temperatures rise. On colder or wet days, the removable 2-layer waterproof liner* and detachable 150g thermal vest provide reliable protection against rain and lower temperatures. The removable sleeves transform the jacket into a highly ventilated option for warmer conditions, while a dedicated rear storage pocket keeps the sleeves neatly packed away when not in use.
Comfort is equally impressive. The regular fit is supported by extensive adjustment points for a personalised fit, while elastic inner cuffs with thumb loops keep the sleeves securely in place. The integrated hood adds everyday practicality once you're off the bike.
For protection, the Morfex Parka WP comes equipped with CE Level 2 Alpinestars Nucleon Flex Pro shoulder and elbow protectors, offering excellent impact protection without compromising freedom of movement. The jacket is also Tech-Air® Ready, prepared for an Alpinestars airbag system, and can be upgraded with optional chest and back protectors. CE Class A certification completes this versatile all-season motorcycle jacket.

Motorcycle gear comes in various levels of waterproofness, which is important for comfort and safety during wet rides. Most waterproof jackets, pants, gloves, and footwear have a membrane that prevents water from penetrating the outer layer. These products keep you dry, but there's a limit to how much they can penetrate. A waterproof membrane doesn't mean 100% waterproof. With prolonged exposure to rain or under high pressure, the outer layer can still let moisture through. This means you could get wet after longer rides in heavy rain, especially in areas where the fabric moves intensively or where seams are less well-protected.
Looking for 100% waterproof? Then choose a product with a Gore-Tex membrane. Gore-Tex is a specially designed membrane that is both waterproof and breathable. The membrane contains microscopic pores that are too small for water droplets to penetrate, but large enough to allow water vapor (sweat) to escape. This keeps rain and spray out, while your body heat and moisture are wicking away. You will ride dry and comfortable, even in prolonged or heavy rain.
In short: regular waterproof motorcycle clothing keeps out short(er) rainshowers, while Gore-Tex effectively protects against prolonged rain and at the same time provides breathable comfort.
Choose a Level 1 or Level 2 back protector. Level 2 has a higher impact value than Level 1.
