The Alpinestars Crosshill WP Air Jacket is a versatile multi season motorcycle jacket designed to adapt to changing weather conditions. Its durable construction combines reinforced areas with large Tech Mesh panels, providing airflow and breathability when temperatures rise.
For wet weather, the removable 2L waterproof* liner can be worn underneath or over the main jacket. A removable thermal liner adds warmth in colder conditions. The different layers can be combined to suit the weather, making the Crosshill WP Air suitable for a wide range of riding conditions.
The sport touring fit features an extended back for additional coverage while riding. Multiple adjustment points at the arms and torso allow you to fine tune the fit. A large Vislon front zip provides smooth operation and durability.
For protection, the jacket comes with Nucleon Flex Pro protectors at the shoulders and elbows. It is also Tech Air Ready and compatible with the Tech Air 5 airbag system. The Crosshill WP Air Jacket is CE certified to EN 17092 Class A.

Motorcycle gear comes in various levels of waterproofness, which is important for comfort and safety during wet rides. Most waterproof jackets, pants, gloves, and footwear have a membrane that prevents water from penetrating the outer layer. These products keep you dry, but there's a limit to how much they can penetrate. A waterproof membrane doesn't mean 100% waterproof. With prolonged exposure to rain or under high pressure, the outer layer can still let moisture through. This means you could get wet after longer rides in heavy rain, especially in areas where the fabric moves intensively or where seams are less well-protected.
Looking for 100% waterproof? Then choose a product with a Gore-Tex membrane. Gore-Tex is a specially designed membrane that is both waterproof and breathable. The membrane contains microscopic pores that are too small for water droplets to penetrate, but large enough to allow water vapor (sweat) to escape. This keeps rain and spray out, while your body heat and moisture are wicking away. You will ride dry and comfortable, even in prolonged or heavy rain.
In short: regular waterproof motorcycle clothing keeps out short(er) rainshowers, while Gore-Tex effectively protects against prolonged rain and at the same time provides breathable comfort.
Choose a Level 1 or Level 2 back protector. Level 2 has a higher impact value than Level 1.
