As a result, Outback 4 H2O Ladies offers near-limitless adjustability: elbow armor that can be precisely positioned, plus pull tabs on the lower and upper arm. Cuff zippers fit gloves for every season – both under and over the outer shell. And with adjustment drawcord at the hem and straps at the waist, the Outback 4 H2O hugs the body as much as you want it to. Plus, the Flexisnap collar means it’s quick to alter the circumference to fit a wind collar or let the breeze in on even the hottest of rides.
SEEFLEX CE-Level 2 protection at the shoulders and elbows comes as standard, with inserts for SEESOFT CE-rated protectors on both back and chest. Add the Neon Connector Vest for visibility for the complete, all-climate touring bundle (sold separately).

Motorcycle gear comes in various levels of waterproofness, which is important for comfort and safety during wet rides. Most waterproof jackets, pants, gloves, and footwear have a membrane that prevents water from penetrating the outer layer. These products keep you dry, but there's a limit to how much they can penetrate. A waterproof membrane doesn't mean 100% waterproof. With prolonged exposure to rain or under high pressure, the outer layer can still let moisture through. This means you could get wet after longer rides in heavy rain, especially in areas where the fabric moves intensively or where seams are less well-protected.
Looking for 100% waterproof? Then choose a product with a Gore-Tex membrane. Gore-Tex is a specially designed membrane that is both waterproof and breathable. The membrane contains microscopic pores that are too small for water droplets to penetrate, but large enough to allow water vapor (sweat) to escape. This keeps rain and spray out, while your body heat and moisture are wicking away. You will ride dry and comfortable, even in prolonged or heavy rain.
In short: regular waterproof motorcycle clothing keeps out short(er) rainshowers, while Gore-Tex effectively protects against prolonged rain and at the same time provides breathable comfort.
