Entry-level, female-specific, minimalist- design, Gore-Tex motorcycle gloves for commuting in the rain
For female commuters who want a stripped-down, minimalistic design, with the benefits of GORE-TEX grip waterproofing and added warmth, Revit brings you the regular-length cuff Chevak 2 GTX Ladies motoryccle gloves. While the Chevak 2 GTX Ladies gloves are the Rev'it! entry-level, when it comes to commuting in the cold, they’re definitely not basic. They have included the new SEESOFT 3D knuckle for added protection, along with a double layer of PWR|Shield and Temperfoam® at the palm.
Making sure your hands feel like they’re being swaddled by warmth, 3M™ Thinsulate™ (200 grams at the back of the hand, and 80 grams at the palm) for thin yet potent insulation against the cold is included, along with a high-loft fur liner at the back of the hand a push pull tri-fleece liner at the palm.
These gloves are crafted with the female-specific fit in mind. They’re not just a smaller replica of the men’s variant. Rev'it paid extra attention to detail to make sure they hug your hands in all the right places especially in inclement weather. And on the days when the rain does start falling, we’ve included a visor wiper to help increase your visibility. The Connect Finger Tip also allows you to operate touchscreens without having to take the Chevak 2 GTX Ladies gloves off. Handy! Keep hands happy, warm, and functional without thinking twice about your safety.

Removable GTX Liner
In garments with a removable GTX liner, the waterproof membrane is separate from the jacket or pants. This offers flexibility, as the liner can be removed in warmer conditions. In the rain, the rider stays dry, but the outer fabric can absorb water, making the garment heavier and colder, and increasing drying time.
Z-Liner GTX
With a fixed Z-liner, the GTX membrane is permanently placed between the inner lining and the outer shell. This system offers greater convenience since nothing needs to be removed. However, similar to a removable liner, the outer fabric can still become saturated during rain.
Laminated GTX
With laminated GTX, the membrane is directly bonded to the outer fabric. This prevents the material from absorbing water, causing rain to bead off the surface. The result is a lighter garment that dries faster and cools less in wet conditions. Laminated GORE-TEX is often chosen by riders who commute daily or frequently ride in changing weather conditions. Because this construction is less flexible, effective ventilation is essential for comfort on warm days.
Laminated 2-Layer and 3-Layer
Within laminated GTX, a distinction is made between 2-layer (2L) and 3-layer (3L) constructions. In 2-layer GTX, the membrane is laminated to the outer fabric and protected by a separate inner lining. In 3-layer GTX, the membrane is permanently bonded to both the outer fabric and the inner lining. This prevents layer movement, reduces wear, and increases durability, especially during intensive use.
