The Macna Utility MUHB-1 is designed to expand the storage capacity of the MUBP-1 backpack or the MUPBP-1 baseplate of a MACNA jacket. When you get off the bike, you can detach it and use it as a waist bag.
The MUHB-1 waist pack has a total of four compartments, the largest of which has a waterproof roll-top closure. There are two pockets on either side of the waterproof compartment, and the fourth and smallest pocket is located in one of the non-waterproof compartments.
This multifunctional waist bag allows you to expand the luggage capacity using the Pouch Attachment Ladder System, or P.A.L.S. for short. This is a 25x38mm strap that allows suitable pouches to be attached to such as a garment, backpack, or baseplate.
In addition to the P.A.L.S. strap, this waist pack can also be worn with the included belt. The exterior features a Night Eye™ fabric panel that reflects light back to its source.

Waterproof construction
Bags labeled as waterproof are generally made from materials that don't allow water to pass through, such as heavily coated textiles or tarpaulin-like fabrics. In addition, seams are often welded or sealed to minimize water penetration. This construction ensures that rain and splashing water stays out effectively, even during heavy downpours.
Waterproof inner compartment
For bags with a waterproof compartment, the exterior is usually made from water-repellent or partially water-resistant material. This outer layer may absorb water during prolonged or heavy rain. The main difference lies on the inside: the main compartment is often equipped with a waterproof liner or inner bag that protects your belongings against moisture.
Good to know: Although many types of motorcycle luggage provide excellent protection against rain, no product is completely and indefinitely waterproof.
