The Macna Aguano motorcycle overtrousers are built for riders who need waterproof* protection without sacrificing everyday comfort. Designed as a lightweight shell to wear over your regular jeans, the Aguano combines convenience, safety and all-season practicality in one smart package.
Constructed from durable Softwill and Fybrex, these overtrousers feature Macna’s Raintex ML fixed membrane, offering waterproofing* while maintaining breathability, ideal for unpredictable weather or year-round commuting. Thanks to Easy Entry long zips along the legs, slipping in and out of the Aguano is effortless, even with boots on.
For protection, the Aguano comes equipped with CE-level 1 R.I.S.C.™ FX knee protectors. These slim, flexible protectors offer discreet safety, maintaining a sleek silhouette over casual trousers. The trousers are also prepared for optional hip protection, allowing you to upgrade your safety level.
Fit and visibility are addressed through practical ankle Velcro, calf zippers, and Side Eye™ reflective elements, helping you stay comfortable, streamlined and visible during day and night rides. The Aguano is additionally compatible with Backonnect™ and Belt Loop™, enabling a secure connection to compatible Macna jackets.

Motorcycle gear comes in various levels of waterproofness, which is important for comfort and safety during wet rides. Most waterproof jackets, pants, gloves, and footwear have a membrane that prevents water from penetrating the outer layer. These products keep you dry, but there's a limit to how much they can penetrate. A waterproof membrane doesn't mean 100% waterproof. With prolonged exposure to rain or under high pressure, the outer layer can still let moisture through. This means you could get wet after longer rides in heavy rain, especially in areas where the fabric moves intensively or where seams are less well-protected.
Looking for 100% waterproof? Then choose a product with a Gore-Tex membrane. Gore-Tex is a specially designed membrane that is both waterproof and breathable. The membrane contains microscopic pores that are too small for water droplets to penetrate, but large enough to allow water vapor (sweat) to escape. This keeps rain and spray out, while your body heat and moisture are wicking away. You will ride dry and comfortable, even in prolonged or heavy rain.
In short: regular waterproof motorcycle clothing keeps out short(er) rainshowers, while Gore-Tex effectively protects against prolonged rain and at the same time provides breathable comfort.
