The waterproof removable and washable main compartment with roll closure has, like all drypacks from Kriega, a white inside so you can see where the desired item in the bag is located. Heavy-duty buckles keep the bags securely in place when mounted on your motorcycle. The bags can be easily worn both on and off the motor by means of the included shoulder strap. The dimensions of the Solo 14 is 310x310x150mm. The assembly sets are nicely packed in a Cordura cover with zipper. Optional for the Ducati scramble are CNC milled aluminium fasteners and HDPE mounting panels available. Each bag contains a clear installation manual.

Waterproof Motorcycle Luggage
Bags labeled as waterproof are generally made from materials that don't allow water to pass through, such as heavily coated textiles or tarpaulin-like fabrics. In addition, seams are often welded or sealed to minimize water penetration. This construction ensures that rain and splashing water stays out effectively, even during heavy downpours.

For bags with a waterproof compartment, the exterior is usually made from water-repellent or partially water-resistant material. This outer layer may absorb water during prolonged or heavy rain. The main difference lies on the inside: the main compartment is often equipped with a waterproof liner or inner bag that protects your belongings against moisture.
In short: although many types of motorcycle luggage provide excellent protection against rain, no product is completely and indefinitely waterproof.
