Environments can change, so having the right lens for any condition can be very useful. During cloudy weather the light intensity is low, the photochromic molecules lighten, allowing more light to pass through. When exposed to sunlight the light intensity is high and the molecules darken to reduce the amount of light transmitted through the lens.
A Pinlock® lens is based on two key principles to ensure a fog-free vision. The moisture absorbing surface of the lens effectively attracts and stores water molecules, while the airtight seal creates a thermal barrier together preventing condensation of the visor.
