The HJC Y50 Megadon is a youth off-road helmet developed specifically for children and teenagers who want to enjoy off-road riding with a helmet that matches their proportions, needs and riding style. Its APC (Advanced Polycarbonate Compound) outer shell combines impact resistance with a lightweight construction, while the BCS (Bespoke Contour System) fitting system helps create a secure, precise fit as young riders grow.
Keeping cool is especially important for active young riders, so HJC equips the helmet with its ACS (Advanced Channeling Ventilation System), combining six air intakes with two exhaust vents to encourage continuous airflow through the interior. The anti-bacterial fabric interior helps wick away moisture and dries quickly, while the crown and cheek pads are removable and washable for easy maintenance.
The peak has been wind-tunnel tested using CFD to optimise stability and reduce drag, while the helmet’s exterior profile is shaped to work securely with off-road goggles. A tool-free peak adjustment makes it easy to fine-tune the angle for your preferred field of vision.
Available in smaller sizes the HJC Y50 Megadon offers a more precise fit across different stages of childhood and adolescence. OEKO-TEX® Standard 100-certified fabric also makes the interior a thoughtful choice for young riders with sensitive skin.
