The Ixon Shadow motorcycle jacket is engineered for serious summer riding, where airflow is critical but protection remains non-negotiable. Built around an ultra-ventilated Hard Mesh chassis, it achieves CE Class AA certification (EN 17092-3:2020), delivering a high level of abrasion resistance without sacrificing breathability.
Large mesh panels across the chest, back, biceps and forearms create continuous airflow, even at lower urban speeds. Heat build-up is minimised and ventilation is immediate. The Shadow is a genuine summer motorcycle jacket that keeps you cool during peak temperatures and long road miles.
Protection comes as standard with CE Level 1 fanom protectors at the shoulders and elbows (Type A). A dedicated back protector pocket allows you to upgrade with a compatible fanom back protector insert for enhanced impact protection. Combined with the durable 600D polyester reinforcement zones, you benefit from a balanced mix of airflow and structural strength.
Comfort and fit are equally considered. The regular cut offers natural freedom of movement in a riding position, while adjustable wrist straps, bicep snap fasteners and waist adjusters ensure a secure, tailored fit. A classic collar with snap closure keeps the neckline tidy at speed. Practical details such as zipped hand pockets, an internal pocket including a waterproof compartment, and reflective detailing on the back complete this highly functional summer riding jacket.
