Germas Everest tour motorcycle trousers are made of sturdy and hard-wearing GERMADURA® 600D material with a fixed mesh lining. Equipped with a waterproof* TEXLAND membrane and removable thermal lining. Combined with the ventilation zips on the front, you can adjust the trousers to the current weather conditions.
The GMS Everest is standard delivered with CE approved protectors on the knees. The added reflective details improve visibility at night and in bad weather conditions. For a proper fit, you can adjust the trousers at the waist. Leg with zip and velcro at the bottom so you can easily slip the trousers over your boots. The connection zip allows you to attach the trousers to the matching jacket.

Motorcycle gear comes in various levels of waterproofness, which is important for comfort and safety during wet rides. Most waterproof jackets, pants, gloves, and footwear have a membrane that prevents water from penetrating the outer layer. These products keep you dry, but there's a limit to how much they can penetrate. A waterproof membrane doesn't mean 100% waterproof. With prolonged exposure to rain or under high pressure, the outer layer can still let moisture through. This means you could get wet after longer rides in heavy rain, especially in areas where the fabric moves intensively or where seams are less well-protected.
Looking for 100% waterproof? Then choose a product with a Gore-Tex membrane. Gore-Tex is a specially designed membrane that is both waterproof and breathable. The membrane contains microscopic pores that are too small for water droplets to penetrate, but large enough to allow water vapor (sweat) to escape. This keeps rain and spray out, while your body heat and moisture are wicking away. You will ride dry and comfortable, even in prolonged or heavy rain.
In short: regular waterproof motorcycle clothing keeps out short(er) rainshowers, while Gore-Tex effectively protects against prolonged rain and at the same time provides breathable comfort.
