The Dainese Gullfoss D-Dry Jacket for Women is designed for adventure and long-distance touring. The breathable D-Dry waterproof* membrane keeps you dry and comfortable in changing weather.
You can wear it over or under your layers. The removable thermal liner offers warmth when needed and freedom when not. Wide ventilation openings on the chest, sleeves and back create airflow, so you stay cool in warmer conditions.
Certified to EN 17092 AA, this jacket includes Pro-Armor Level 2 protectors at the shoulders and elbows for reliable impact protection. It also has pockets for optional G1 or G2 back protectors and is compatible with D-air airbags.

Motorcycle gear comes in various levels of waterproofness, which is important for comfort and safety during wet rides. Most waterproof jackets, pants, gloves, and footwear have a membrane that prevents water from penetrating the outer layer. These products keep you dry, but there's a limit to how much they can penetrate. A waterproof membrane doesn't mean 100% waterproof. With prolonged exposure to rain or under high pressure, the outer layer can still let moisture through. This means you could get wet after longer rides in heavy rain, especially in areas where the fabric moves intensively or where seams are less well-protected.
Looking for 100% waterproof? Then choose a product with a Gore-Tex membrane. Gore-Tex is a specially designed membrane that is both waterproof and breathable. The membrane contains microscopic pores that are too small for water droplets to penetrate, but large enough to allow water vapor (sweat) to escape. This keeps rain and spray out, while your body heat and moisture are wicking away. You will ride dry and comfortable, even in prolonged or heavy rain.
In short: regular waterproof motorcycle clothing keeps out short(er) rainshowers, while Gore-Tex effectively protects against prolonged rain and at the same time provides breathable comfort.
