Constructed from a durable 3-layer stretch Drystar®XF laminated shell, the Halo Pro delivers outstanding weather protection while maintaining excellent breathability. The modular design features large direct ventilation panels on the chest and back, plus a removable outer sleeve shell, ensuring maximum airflow in hot climates. For wet or cold rides, simply zip the panels and sleeves back in place for a fully waterproof and protective outer layer.
Equipped with Nucleon Flex Pro Level 2 protectors at shoulders and elbows, and Tech-Air® airbag system compatibility, the Halo Pro ensures top-tier protection. The jacket also includes reinforced high-wear zones and multiple waterproof storage pockets, making it perfect for adventure touring.

Motorcycle gear comes in various levels of waterproofness, which is important for comfort and safety during wet rides. Most waterproof jackets, pants, gloves, and footwear have a membrane that prevents water from penetrating the outer layer. These products keep you dry, but there's a limit to how much they can penetrate. A waterproof membrane doesn't mean 100% waterproof. With prolonged exposure to rain or under high pressure, the outer layer can still let moisture through. This means you could get wet after longer rides in heavy rain, especially in areas where the fabric moves intensively or where seams are less well-protected.
Looking for 100% waterproof? Then choose a product with a Gore-Tex membrane. Gore-Tex is a specially designed membrane that is both waterproof and breathable. The membrane contains microscopic pores that are too small for water droplets to penetrate, but large enough to allow water vapor (sweat) to escape. This keeps rain and spray out, while your body heat and moisture are wicking away. You will ride dry and comfortable, even in prolonged or heavy rain.
In short: regular waterproof motorcycle clothing keeps out short(er) rainshowers, while Gore-Tex effectively protects against prolonged rain and at the same time provides breathable comfort.
