Good news for the sporty and/or naked bike rider; The GP X V2 from Alpinestars combines compactness and lightweight with adequate protection and durability. The long cuff closes completely but the glove feels like you're wearing a short summer glove.
The wear-resistant cowhide outer layer of the GP X V2 motorcycle glove forms the basis of this leather glove. The protection with Dual compound knuckle protector, foam padding and TPU sliders on the fingers is fine. But that is not everything. The hard shell palm slider and finger bridge between the little finger and ring finger can prevent nasty injuries. Like several Alpinestars products, GP X V2 has also been created thanks to incoming flights from the racing sport.
Made mainly in leather (combination of perforated and non-perforated leather panels).
Reinforcements on palm and thumb for extra grip and durability.
External seams on the palm.
Rigid protector on the knuckles designed to deliver high performance in case of impact. Reinforcement on the side of the glove and a stiff slide on the palm for better abrasion and impact resistance.
The patented 4th and 5th finger bridge of Alpinestars prevents the turning and separation of the fingers in the event of a fall.
Padding on the fingers for more comfort and protection.
Ergonomic stretch panel on the palm for more freedom of movement.
Accordion inserts on the fingers and the back for more flexibility.
Stretch fabric cuff designed to be worn under the jacket.
Leather puller on the cuff to help place the glove.
Velcro strap around the wrist to prevent the glove from coming loose.
